Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. General Principle

Cancellation and refund rights are primarily determined by the individual Establishment's cancellation policy displayed at the time of booking.

By confirming a booking, the Guest agrees to those terms.

2. Cancellation Categories

Bookings may be:

• Fully refundable
• Partially refundable
• Non-refundable

The applicable category is shown clearly before payment confirmation.

3. How to Cancel

Cancellations must be made:

• Through your user account dashboard, or
• By contacting our support team in writing, or
• By contacting the Establishment in writing

Cancellation is effective only once acknowledged.

4. Refund Processing

Where eligible:

• Refunds are processed to the original payment method via Stripe.
• Processing may take 5–14 business days depending on your bank.

Transaction fees, where non-recoverable, may be deducted where legally permissible.

5. Non-Refundable Reservations

Non-refundable bookings are not eligible for refund, except where required by mandatory consumer protection law.

6. No-Shows

Failure to check in without prior cancellation may result in:

• Full retention of the booking amount
• No refund entitlement

7. Force Majeure

In cases of extraordinary events (natural disasters, government travel bans, pandemics), refund eligibility depends on the Establishment's policy.

Truly Seychelles does not independently guarantee refunds in such cases.

8. Chargebacks

Guests agree to contact us before initiating any payment dispute.

Unjustified chargebacks may result in account suspension and recovery of associated costs.
